EKOS (“EKOS”, “we”, and/or “us”) values your privacy. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the types of information we may collect from any individual or entity, including, but not limited to, Clients, Customers, Authorized Users, and end users (“you”), who accesses or uses MyEkos.com (https://www.myekos.com), including all of its related applications, dashboards, or platforms (“Services”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. By using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and procedures this Privacy Policy describes. Beyond the Privacy Policy, your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms and Conditions (https://www.myekos.com/terms-and-conditions). All capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning given in our Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to update and change this Policy from time to time and will provide notice to you by changing the “last updated” date above. All changes are prospective only. It is your obligation to be familiar with the most current version of the Policy. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your acknowledgment of and consent to such changes.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that company or other legal entity to this Policy, in such event, “You” will refer and apply to that company or other legal entity.

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

We collect fuel transactional information, user email addresses, network addresses, phone numbers, web browser version, device type such as PC, mobile, and OS. Forms of authentication such as RFID tags, and pin numbers. GPS tracking information, vehicle data such as run hours, mileage, make and model, and maintenance history. Fuel usage, fuel type, fuel equipment data such as model number, serial number, size, photos, event notification, alarms, and errors. Bulk fuel data including, gallons delivered, price per gallon, supplier, BOL#, Invoice#, and site address.

WHAT WE DO WITH THE DATA WE COLLECT

We use this data to provide services to you including reports and analysis information. To send alerts and notifications about your fuel sites, equipment, vehicles, and fuel usage.

We also use this data to improve our service performance, and to provide new and or additional services to you. We will use information such as phone number, email, and address to communicate these new services, or notify you of system changes or events applicable to you. In the event you contact us we will keep a record of the information to better help solve any issues you may be having.

HOW WE PROTECT THE DATA WE COLLECT

We take your data seriously and use industry best practices to secure customer data. Data is always encrypted in transit. Our facilities meet SOC 1 and 2 type 2 standards. All systems follow NIST guidelines where appropriate to secure, harden, and monitor your data.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

Data is not shared or processed by any 3rd party systems. All data is stored within the continental US. Customer systems and data are accessed by authorized EKOS employees and support personnel of Gasboy (with accompanied customer approval and support contract).

HOW YOU CAN MANAGE, EXPORT, OR REMOVE YOUR DATA

User accounts, emails, phone numbers, and addresses can be updated inside EKOS at any time or can be updated via contacting support. Data in EKOS can be exported in a mutually agreed upon format (txt, csv, database, etc) and with written request and approval deleted at the end or termination of your contract with EKOS.
